Detroit Lion's on Madden 08

Everyone thinks they're good as they play with teams with high-rated attributes.  Try playing with a "rebuilding" team like the Detroit Lions.  If you win with them, the victory is twice as sweet...

Extreme Crew holding their own!!!!!

We got Madden '08 a couple of weeks ago and have been playing it non-stop when he have off from work.  Bobby, Steve, and myself (Brian) have just finished up our first franchise season and looking forward to getting some off-season trades done.  Maybe if we come through your town we need to meet up and have a tournament to see who is truly the best. LOL!!!!

Hey guys, it’s Brian Collins here just dropping a line to let you all know how our first true Gaming Event, Blizzcon, went this past weekend.

We were there August 3 until August 4.  For those of you who were there it was great to see you all.  We have yet to see those Dell XPS machines, run with the Intel Core 2 Duo and Extreme processors, get a work out like that.  Only true extreme gamers know how to truly break those machines in.  I always love seeing real gamers seriously go at it when playing World of Warcraft.  Everyone’s competitive spirit truly came out while keeping sportsmanship in mind at all times.

Anyways I got a long drive ahead of me up to Columbus, OH for the Ohio State Fair.  If you can’t make it there to see us make sure you get up with us at our next gamers event at Gencon in Indianapolis.

Hi there gamers!

Brian Collins, tour manager of the Intel Dell Extreme Gaming Tour, here blogging today.

We all traveled south to Costa Mesa for our event at Orange County Fair, July 28th and 29th and the 31st.  The weather was much dryer than Seattle.  The consumers really enjoyed hanging out with us and really made us feel welcome.  They were amazed by our experience loaded with the latest and greatest in gaming, designed by Dell, powered by Intel.  One mom I talked to just couldn’t believe what she was seeing as her son built up his forces and began to attack the enemy in Command and Conquer 3.

Be sure to stay tuned with us.  We’ll be staying in California for another week heading to BlizzCon in Anaheim.  A WOW player’s dream comes true!

Check us out at BlizzCon or visit our schedule to find out when we’ll be trucking near you.

The Beginnings: Bite of Seattle

PeopleAggregator Hey this is Philip b, EmCee and DJ, one of 6 in the contingent producing the Intel Dell Extreme gaming Tour this summer and fall across America

The tour for us started in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 9th where we all came together for training. I flew in from San Francisco CA, fresh off managing another promotion. Brian Collins, our tour manager, was finishing another tour and came on board straight from a racing event in Florida. His buddy and recently certified teacher, Steve Campe, flew out from Rochester, New York. Vegan Punk rock promoter, John O'Connor, joined our motley bunch from Pittsburgh, PA. Bobby Bowman hopped up from Council Bluffs Iowa. Jack, the driver of our 53 ft semi, senior driver at GMR marketing, the company we work for, is from Wisconsin and completed the crew.

After getting the 2 box trucks loaded in St Louis, Saturday July 14th, we made our way to Seattle. John and Brian took off in the Yukon chase, while Bobby, myself, and Steve headed to our first stop in Sioux City, my hometown. We stopped and paid a visit with my dad, went out with some of my old friends. We left Sioux City the following day for a long drive across South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana.

After sleeping at a truck stop in Montana, we crossed Idaho quickly and entered Washington. It was nice to find a 76 Gas Station that only had fresh organic fruits and nuts available as snacks, I loaded up on cherries, peaches, and apples and we rolled forward, finally arriving in Seattle, Tuesday July 17th.

We checked into this very strange hotel called the Sutton Inn and Suites. The rooms were huge, with a full kitchen and dining room. There were even place sets on the table with silverware and dishes. The place was kind of dumpy though, yellow walls, cracked this, corroded that, and it appeared an entire family lived throughout the floors.

We loaded into the Seattle Center for the “Bite of Seattle” on Wednesday morning at 7:30AM, worked until 7:00PM loading games and setting up the footprint. This includes 38 kiosks with the Dell XPS systems, powered Intel processors, and some Alienware CPU’s, both laptop and desktops. There is an awning that comes off the side of the semi and a sweet DJ booth with lighting patterns where I set up and drop beats all day. On Thursday we continued our set up and were open to the public on Friday.

The area where we setup was pretty cool, right underneath the Seattle Space Needle, around the corner from the Experience Music Museum. It rained all weekend, as Seattle normally does, but the weather didn’t stop the excitement though as people were lined up to play free on Dell desktops and the notebooks locked and loaded with Intel’s top-of-the line processors.

You're going to want to check out this new and amazing experience brought to you by Intel and Dell.
